We are delighted to welcome you to our brand new care home Leycester House in Warwick, where we offer residents the chance to experience luxury living and exceptional care. We provide residential, residential dementia, nursing, respite and day care in a stimulating, beautiful environment.
I’d like to thank our local residents in Chase Meadow, Warwick for bearing with us while the construction work has been going on, we look forward to inviting you into the home very soon to look around.
There are many things that set Leycester House apart from other care homes and you can find out more throughout this website and as well as in our brochure. There are two which I believe stand out and help to shape our ethos:
Firstly, we are very selective when recruiting our staff and in return for them being the best at what they do, we pay everyone who works with us above the living wage. We believe this is a first in the local market and ensures a happy environment within the home, while recognising the value of the care profession.
Secondly, we offer one clear, all-inclusive weekly price to our residents. This reduces worry and helps people relax as well as being able to plan ahead.
We are proud of what we have achieved at Leycester House and we invite everyone who is interested in the home to visit us in person. Please contact me to arrange a convenient time - I very much look forward to meeting you soon.
Julia Joy, General Manager
It might seem like an obvious thing to say if you are used to living independently, but it is one of the biggest fears of elderly people looking at care homes – that they will just become a number, and one’s independence will naturally ebb away. We set out to counter this straight away and focusing on the individual is the best way of helping people to settle quickly in order that they can get on with enjoying life.
While we're incredibly proud of Leycester House's state-of-the-art design, its facilities, its comfortable rooms and its attractive furnishings, our priority is to deliver the best care possible, while never losing sight of the happiness of each and every resident. There are as many personalities in our home as there are residents; providing customised lifestyle care comes as naturally to us as ensuring residents receive the required medical care.
We judge the success of our care home by the happiness of our residents, many of whom will already be local to the area of Leycester House and Warwick. We want our home to be as much a part of the local community as the local school, shop and pub are, and we want our residents and staff to be involved as much as possible. Here is one example of how we do that.
We are very excited about our discussions with Warwick Racecourse regarding the opportunity to sponsor a race - watch out for the Leycester House Handicap Hurdle! We're looking forward to engaging with the local community, as well as enabling our residents to have a fun day out, supporting their very own race.
We are also delighted to have sponsored the Annual Tournament Gala on 29th August 2016 at Wellesbourne Bowls Club. In addition, we are looking forward to our community initiative with Newburgh Primary School, sponsoring a range of sports kit, as well as the children visiting the home, with their Choir entertaining our residents, amongst other joint community events.Contact Events
